Terms of Service

Legal operator: Demetris Demetriou, trading as DD Cyprus1Click. Parakalo.ai is a service and trading brand operated by DD Cyprus1Click; it is not a separate company or tax entity.

These terms govern access to the Parakalo.ai website, administration platform and AI telephone-reception service supplied by Demetris Demetriou, trading as DD Cyprus1Click. A signed order, pilot agreement or other written contract may add to or override these terms.

1. Service

Parakalo provides configurable AI receptionists for incoming calls, including transcription, summaries and permitted workflows such as messages, leads and appointments. Features depend on the customer’s configuration, telephone carrier and enabled providers. The service does not provide emergency calling, legal, medical or financial advice.

2. Accounts and authority

Users must provide accurate information, protect credentials and use two-factor authentication when required. A person configuring a business confirms that they are authorised to act for it. Activity performed through an account is treated as authorised until Parakalo is notified of compromise.

3. Customer responsibilities

• Provide accurate business knowledge, instructions, opening hours and permitted action settings.
• Configure lawful call forwarding and comply with telecommunications requirements.
• Provide callers with required privacy information and establish a lawful basis for processing.
• Avoid asking Parakalo to collect unnecessary sensitive data.
• Review calls, actions and AI outputs and maintain appropriate human oversight.

4. AI limitations

AI output may be incomplete or incorrect. Parakalo uses safeguards and verified data but does not guarantee that every utterance, transcription, classification or action will be error-free. Customers must not use the service as the sole decision-maker for high-impact decisions and must provide a suitable human route for consequential matters.

5. Acceptable use

Users may not use the service unlawfully; impersonate people deceptively; harass callers; collect data without authority; bypass tenant, authentication or action controls; interfere with providers; upload malicious instructions; or use the service for emergency dispatch, unlawful surveillance or prohibited discrimination.

6. Privacy and data processing

The Privacy Policy and Data Processing Information form part of the service information. Customers remain responsible for their role as controller of caller data. Parakalo may suspend a workflow that creates a material privacy or security risk.

7. Availability and third parties

Telephone and AI operation depends on internet, carrier and third-party provider availability. Maintenance, outages, number routing, caller networks and provider changes can affect service. Parakalo will use reasonable care to operate and restore the service but does not promise uninterrupted availability.

8. Fees, invoices and tax

Fees, included usage, overages and payment timing are those in the applicable written order, pilot agreement or subscription checkout. Prices are stated excluding VAT unless expressly labelled otherwise. Cyprus subscriptions are charged 19% VAT under the existing DD Cyprus1Click VAT registration. Stripe invoices identify Demetris Demetriou / DD Cyprus1Click as the legal seller; Parakalo.ai may appear as the service brand. A Stripe invoice is the official invoice for that transaction and must not be duplicated in another accounting system.

9. Intellectual property and feedback

Parakalo and its licensors retain rights in the platform, software and documentation. Customers retain rights in their business content and grant the limited rights necessary to operate the service. Feedback may be used to improve the service without identifying confidential customer information.

10. Suspension and termination

Access may be restricted for material breach, non-payment, security risk, unlawful use or provider requirements. On termination, data is exported or deleted as required by the applicable agreement and law, subject to backup expiry and records that must be retained.

11. Liability

Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any additional warranties, liability limits and indemnities are set by the applicable customer agreement. During an agreed pilot, the pilot terms govern testing scope and risk allocation.

12. Law, contact and changes

Unless another written agreement states otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus and disputes are subject to the competent courts of Cyprus. Contact hello@parakalo.ai. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date.
